With Pedro Gramaxo

Type: Creative Lab

The Transformation of Landscape as Artistic Work is a training session, both theoretical and practical, rooted in artistic references and contemporary reflections that explore the hybridisms of installation and the expressions that inhabit border territories. It is proposed as a space of encounter — artistic, social and political — where landscape in transformation is thought and felt. Here, attention is given to the way human intervention, driven by logics of unsustainable exploitation, alters, wounds and redesigns the territories we inhabit.

Pedro Gramaxo is a multidisciplinary land-based artist who works in constructive art, installation and photography, analysing and deepening our relationship with space, time, memory, natural resources and altered states of perception. His work has been presented internationally in solo and group exhibitions, residencies and public spaces since 2012: from Italy to the Netherlands, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, China, Russia, Argentina, South Korea, the United States, Romania and Iceland. He holds a degree in Architecture from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa (2010), with a Master’s in Architecture and Arts (2012).
