Uma palavra é muitas coisas
With Adriana Campos
Type: Creative Lab
One word, many meanings is a workshop that precedes the opening of the exhibition and forms part of Pedro França’s installation Não aqui, tampouco agora. During the month of March, it will travel through three secondary schools in the city, challenging students to map, through words and play, the multiple meanings of the curatorial proposal: Segurar, dar, receber (To hold, to give, to receive).
Adriana Campos holds a Master’s degree in Artistic Studies (FLUC, 2023), trained in Dance and Community (Fórum Dança, 2013), and holds a degree in Theatre and Education (ESEC, 2006). She develops various performance-workshops, takes part in the project «Vamos comprar um poeta» and in teatro2em1. Of particular note is the work developed with Projeto Estúdio, one of the theatre groups of the Coimbra Cerebral Palsy Association. For educators and teachers, her accredited training courses in «(a)riscar» teatro also stand out. Also noteworthy is her regular work with Teatro Amador de Brasfemes. She collaborates regularly with educational and audience mediation services in various spaces and networks across the country. As an author, she is part of the Cartography of Portuguese Dramaturgy, received an Honourable Mention in the Afonso Lopes Vieira Literary Prize, and has part of her experience documented in articles and/or conference papers.
