Type: Performance walk

Born from a research process initiated in 2021, transPORTAr works with the protagonism of a door to activate reflections on structuring social paradigms. Along routes through streets, squares and cultural spaces, the door becomes a body detached from architecture, drifting, dancing. These pilgrimages invite passers-by to join the performative action, catalysing many different kinds of encounter.

A companhiacompanhia believes in deviation and subversion as a practice. It works through a hybridism of languages — visual arts, performance and dance — operating in the “in-between”: a zone of transit where body, space and movement contaminate one another. With a porous structure, it is led by azuLABula and shares creations and production with Clarice Rito. In this action, it is accompanied curatorially by Sonia Salcedo del Castillo.

Location: Starting at Portagem, following Rua Ferreira Borges to Praça 8 de Maio. Then continuing along Rua da Sofia and returning to Praça 8 de Maio
