This conversation opens up different perspectives on the curatorial theme of Anozero’26, To hold, to give, to receive, from the standpoint of philosophy and in dialogue with other arts, such as poetry. It is conceived as a space for sharing and reflection, guided by philosophical thought, where perspectives, sensibilities and modes of creation intersect.

Luís Quintais is a poet, essayist, anthropologist and professor at the University of Coimbra. Among his books of poetry are O vidro (2014), Arrancar penas a um canto de cisne. Poesia 1995-2015 (2015), A noite imóvel (2017), Agon (2018), Ângulo morto (2021) and Nocturama (2024). His poetry has received some of the most important poetry awards in Portugal and has been translated into the main European languages.

Luís António Umbelino is a professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra. He is co-coordinator of the International Collaborative Research Project “Hermeneutics of Architecture: Dwelling in the Horizon of Finitude”. He is a researcher at the R&D Unit Centre for Classical and Humanistic Studies and a collaborator at the R&D Unit IEF, both at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra. He is a member of the research project «Fenomenología del cuerpo y análisis del gozo I», in Spain. He is director of Revista Filosófica de Coimbra. He publishes regularly in Portugal and abroad on the French reflective tradition, the horizon of contemporary phenomenology and the context of Philosophical Hermeneutics.
