Percurso Orientado por Artistas: Felipe Barrosa
With Felipe Barbosa
Type: Artist-led tour
This is a tour led by an artist, opening new ways of seeing and expanding the layers of meaning within the works. The gaze does not explain, it moves through, displaces, provokes. Along the route, choice is allowed: not all works need to be visited. There is freedom to linger where the eye settles, to follow what calls, to build a personal path within the exhibition.
Felipe Barbosa lives and works between Coimbra and Rio de Janeiro. He graduated in Fine Arts from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where he also completed a master’s degree in Visual Languages, and is currently a PhD candidate at the Colégio das Artes, University of Coimbra. His artistic practice focuses on the relationships between everyday objects, constructivism, collecting, and art history. He has exhibited regularly since the 2000s, with highlights including group exhibitions such as PLAY du FITE – Biennale Textile and Zonas de Transição at the Musée Bargoin in Clermont-Ferrand, among others.
Location: Mosteiro de Santa Clara-a-Nova
