Among display windows, counters and materials in use, an urban landscape made of relationships, memories and shared practices takes shape. It is in this context that contemporary art emerges as a force of activation and attention, capable of shifting the gaze and reconfiguring ways of seeing and inhabiting this urban space. Ofícios do Olhar invites visual artists to develop artistic installations from the materials, objects and practices specific to each space.
