CUIDADORIA, a project by the artist-curator duo Ana Rito & Hugo Barata, emerges within the convergent programme of Anozero, Biennial of Coimbra, inscribing itself in its thematic impulse as a gesture of critical displacement. The proposal unfolds and is transfigured into three other verbs: to embrace, to constellate, to other. It is an expansion of care as an aesthetic and ethical practice, in which the act of curating becomes an exercise in attention, hospitality and affection.
