How can time be inhabited when it is permanence and disappearance?
The exhibition does not seek to answer the question that runs through it. It sustains it. The images explore the coexistence of materials, times and bodies, moving away from landscape and narrative. Stone, water and the human body emerge as surfaces subject to wear and erosion, without hierarchy or symbolic function. Nuno Sampaio proposes a reflection on the human condition as a continuity of matter, within a territory of tension where remaining does not imply stability or disappearance.
