Art as a Collective Process
6 Jun
With Amábile Bezinelli
Type: Creative Lab
Art as a Collective Process proposes artistic creation as a collective practice. It begins with the active participation of the community in order to develop creative processes that bring together different languages and experiences. Throughout the process, participants are invited to experiment, share references and build proposals together, valuing listening, co-authorship and exchange. The emphasis is on the process — on dialogue, encounter and the collective construction of meaning. Artistic practice is understood as a central dimension of the process, inseparable from the collective experience, thus affirming the community as a space of action, reflection and transformation.
Amábile Maria Bezinelli holds a degree in Theatre and Education and a Master’s degree in Adult Education and Local Development. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Democracy in the Twenty-First Century (CES – University of Coimbra). Her path brings together artistic practices, teaching and research in community and school contexts. She worked as an artist-in-residence within the framework of PNPSE, developing projects that reflect her focus on an educational approach that values the body, dialogue and artistic co-creation as tools for social transformation.
